Power increase

The 2025 Audi RS Q8 Performance gives the existing RS Q8 even more power. The new model boasts a significant power boost, with its 4.0-liter V8 now producing 631 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. That is an increase of 40 hp compared to the standard RS Q8, placing it just below the Lamborghini Urus, which delivers 657 horsepower.

Enhanced performance features

  • Lighter and louder exhaust system: reduces back pressure and increases engine output
  • Acceleration: 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds (potentially under 3.0 seconds in real-world tests)
  • Advanced suspension: adjustable air suspension with improved handling tuning
  • 48-volt active stabilizers: combined with all-wheel steering for better agility and stability

Exterior upgrades

The RS Q8 Performance features a refreshed exterior with several notable changes:

  • New front bumper and grille: larger air intakes and a new 3D mesh design
  • Matrix LED headlights: standard, with optional HD laser high beams
  • OLED taillights: first-time addition with five customizable light signatures

The Performance model also comes with standard 22-inch wheels, with an option to upgrade to larger 23-inch wheels. The larger wheels reduce unsprung mass by approximately 20 kg, further improving the SUV’s performance. Braking is handled by 10-piston front calipers and carbon-ceramic rotors, which come standard on the Performance model.
